I know about drumcore somewhat, not sure if its UB but it really doesn't give you the fills on the fly when you want. What I sometimes still do is use groove agent or jamstix (windoze) to run BFD, or similar which gives you the option to add fills on the fly, with read/write automation (does logic have this as well?) might as well ask since I am posting. Don't know if there are any good drum programs out there.
